Frankfurt was the setting for a meeting of leading experts from around the World to share ideas and discuss how best to formulate and compile a report to produce a clinical guideline review on behalf of EDWPOP.
The conference covered numerous topics and on both days the delegates were joined by fellow experts from countries as diverse as Mexico, Israel, Canada, Spain, USA and Australia via teleconferencing.
Hosted by Professor Alan Sinclair the conference was deemed to be highly successful and plans are currently being formulated to undertake another development meeting later in the Autumn in the UK.
During the evening conference of course the US delegates were able to watch their side exit the World Cup - to much merriment from the English contingent, what a shame therefore that due to flight times, Professor Sinclair and Mulberry's Martin Chick had to suffer the humiliation of England's defeat at the hands of Germany not only in front of the remaining US delegate but some 60 German fans in the hotel!
