The Assembly Hall Theatre in Tunbridge Wells was once again the chosen venue for the AXA PPP Customer Service Awards.
With a change in format, a Hollywood style 'Oscars' ceremony and over 730 guests, the challenge was to produce a slick, fast moving show with the emphasis focusing very much not just on the eventual winners, but also to ensure that all nominees got the recognition from their peers that they so richly deserved.
We began the process by photographing eveyone walking into the auditorium, these pictures were available as free downloads from 21.00 on the same evening.
The awards themselves were interspersed with a number of presentations which highlighted the events and achievements during 2008 and then a special guest appearance by none other than Pudsey Bear who was on hand to recognise the efforts made by volunteers in The Customer Service team who took over 5,900 calls for the BBC Children in Need appeal during 2008.
We were also delighted to have Keith Gibbs, Chief Executive Director of AXA PPP Healthcare attend this years' event not only to thank all staff within Customer Services for their efforts throughout 2008 but also to present the winner of the Manager of the Year Award.
