Course overview

To develop communication mastery techniques for your people in a fun, engaging and very interactive manner. Mix of dynamic learning, discussion, break out groups and experiential learning. Communication Mastery is one of, if not the key to building relationships, high performing  teams, leadership skills, key client relationships, customer service and increasing sales.

Tailored

Ideally one full day, but can be broken down into two or three short chunks to be run in quick succession over 4-6 weeks. Can be further tailored to be more specific in terms of sales, team work or leadership, and tailored for the skill level of the group.

Target audience

Graduates, managers, directors, sales teams, personal assistants, project leaders, marketing teams – in fact, any body who needs to work with or influence others; takes client briefs; has contact with any clients or suppliers; needs to give or receive feedback; needs to listen to others; needs to negotiate or influence others with integrity.

SDI – Strength Deployment Inventory

Being skilled in relationships is fundamental to business success and impacts directly on productivity, morale and bottom line.

Course over view

Described by one client as ‘Probably the best performance workshop I have seen at the Bank in 18 years’, the workshop is based on the work of Elias Porter PhD. Clients will learn to understand their motivational value system and the motivation (needs) of others to build strong and motivated teams, effective relationships and increase performance. A Swiss client audited our SDI programme and noted that ‘Staff engagement had doubled in 12 months’ during the 22 workshops for over 500 staff.

Duration

Introductory half day session, one-day or two-day programmes – to suit your needs and outcomes. The ideal two-day programme offers significant ROI, as clients have time to fully experience, practice and develop the skills and confidence to be able to use them at work.

Follow up coaching, support, development workshops and on-line measurements are readily available.

The SDI tool is a fabulous foundation from which to build a variety of tailored programmes delivering communication skills, motivation, conflict resolution, feedback skills, listening skills, relationship awareness theory, leadership, customer service and sales. The basis of the programme is relationships and how to manage them to increase motivation, self esteem, performance and productivity within individuals and teams. Based on Porters Relationship Awareness Theory, the model is proven and valid.

Everyone! Any one who has any interaction with any other person will benefit from this programme. If we were only allowed to deliver one type of programme ever again, it would contain the SDI. Its that good!

Your SDI session can be integrated with activities such as Rope Courses, Sailing and Mobile team challenges to expand the memorable learning and retention. It can be linked into personal development, leadership training, problem solving, culture change and business growth scenarios. Sessions can last from a few hours to a year, delivering a compliment of performance coaching workshops to impact on your people, performance and productivity.
